Smatchs MOOC​

Developed in the scope of the project, SmatchS e-learning course is focused on improving the competencies of sports coaches, trainers and other stakeholders to work on the social inclusion of children with migration stories in and through sports.

 

In a 25h course (5 modules), participants will have the opportunity to learn about the main features of migration stories and types, psychosocial well-being and to use sport as a tool for inclusion.

 

What you’ll learn about?

  • To identify sport coaches’ roles, responsibilities and characteristics to support the social inclusion of people with migration stories in the European Union.

  • To identify the personal and social circumstances of children with migration stories.

  • To recognize the intercultural competencies required by coaches in order to work with children with migration stories.

  • To learn how to use sport for the social inclusion of children with migrant stories.

  • To recognize and promote the role that families have in the inclusion of children with migration stories in and through sport.

  • No previous experience is needed
